Who is responsible

One person currently maintains this website and handles questions about participant information while a wider team is formed. The campaign contact is ciorsdanhibbert@gmail.com. No separate organisation or wider team is presented as being responsible yet.

Purpose and choice

We record expressions of support, publish totals by country and worldwide, prevent obvious abuse, and administer corrections and withdrawal. A pledge can reveal a political opinion. The form therefore asks for explicit consent to record this expression of support. You can withdraw it.

Public display is a separate choice and is off by default. You can support the proposal without publishing your name. Consent does not commit you to an action date or materially different future terms.

What is collected

• For a private pledge: country, pledge time and an internal reference. A name is collected only if you choose public display.
• The terms you agreed to, your privacy choices and whether your pledge is included in the count.
• A security check and a private code help protect your pledge. Hosting and security services process technical information, including your IP address. The new pledge record does not store it, but earlier records may follow the earlier policy.
• A protected representation of your private code is saved so you can manage your pledge. The code itself is not saved in the pledge database.

No email, phone, street address, employer or donation is required. Do not enter sensitive personal details in your alias.

What becomes public

The total number of pledges, worldwide and by country, is public. Your name is not. Only if you tick the separate sharing box will your display name, country and pledge date/time appear in the public names list. People can copy that list. The downloadable PDF contains totals only, not names. These lists do not prove that every pledge comes from a different person.

Earlier downloaded lists followed the previous policy. Copies people have already downloaded cannot necessarily be recalled.

Service providers and access

The site uses Cloudflare for hosting, security checks, storage and backups. Its security services process technical request information. Access to private records is restricted to the operator and authorised maintenance providers. The campaign does not sell participant information or use it for advertising.

Selecting Watch here loads a YouTube player on this page; YouTube then receives technical information, including your IP address and this site’s origin. YouTube applies its own privacy terms. Nothing plays automatically.

Check, change or remove a pledge

New pledges receive a private code. Save it or take a picture and keep it safe: anyone holding it can manage that pledge. Use Your pledge to check it, change your country or public name, make it private, or remove it from the active count. A temporary copy is kept in this browser tab so a retry does not count twice. We cannot automatically recover a lost code.

For help with an earlier pledge, a public name, a lost code or another data request, contact the operator with enough information to explain the issue. A name alone is not proof that a pledge is yours. Do not send identity documents. We may need limited additional information to locate and verify your request.

Retention and backups

Active pledge records are retained while the proposal is being reviewed and supported, unless withdrawn. Withdrawal removes the active personal entry. A minimal withdrawal marker is retained to prevent a delayed or retried submission from recreating it.

Restricted backups and provider recovery copies may retain earlier data until they expire or are replaced. Withdrawal must be reapplied before a backup is restored into active use. A fixed, verified backup-expiry period has not yet been published; contact the operator before pledging if this is material to your decision.

Your rights and complaints

You can ask about access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and withdrawal of consent as applicable. You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission or another relevant supervisory authority. Material changes to the purpose, terms or operator will be published and assessed for renewed consent.
